Commissioner de Palacio report Commission plan to take action against Member States for failing to Transpose "gas liberalisation" Directive

Brussels, 26/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is expected to open proceedings against three Member States for failing to transport the "gas liberalisation" Directive ahead of the cut-off date of 10 August, according to Loyola de Palacio, the Transport Commissioner ». Most Member States have transposed the Directive and France, Germany and Luxembourg are the only ones not to follow suit, said Ms Palacio.
