Brussels, 27/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - Monday's Transport Council, chaired in Luxembourg by Portuguese Minister Jorge Coelho, covered a very heavy agenda in a single day. The failure of the discussions on road transit in Austria and the lively exchange of views between the French Transport Minister and Commissioner Loyola de Palacio about the French air traffic controllers' strike obviously were in the spotlight (see yesterday's EUROPE, page 7).
