The French railway company SNCF created a new company named VOYAGES-SNCF.COM with an initial capital of FF 100 million and whose aim is to become the largest rail holiday portal in Europe. It should have a turnover of FF 3.5 billion over three years. Furthermore, the SNCF and the DEUTSCHE BAHN announced the upcoming creation of a joint venture whose aim is to improve the cross-border traffic in goods.
