Luxembourg, 05/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - Monday' Economy and Finance Council made no breakthroughs in the area of savings taxation. A final meeting of the EU Finance Ministers is therefore scheduled for 8 June in Feira, on the eve of the European Summit, and the issue will then be forwarded to the Heads of State and Government.
