Brussels, 28/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided to respond favourably to the British request for the return of the acquisition dossier by Pioneer Plc by Hanson Ltd, in the construction materials sector (notably, ready to use concrete and tar). The Commission feels that the British competition authorities have a better understanding of the markets in question on British soil. They now have four months to study the dossier.
