ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

Morocco has chosen a consortium led by France's ALSTOM to build a $131 million power plant in the region of Beni Mellal, the National electricity Office has announced. This consortium, that brigs together ALSTOM HYDRAULIQUE, ALSTOM HYDRO, ALSTOM MAROC, the Spanish firm NECSO and EDF EELECTRICTE DE FRANCE, is to invest 1.349 bn Moroccan dirhams in building the site.
