The Belgian group L&H - LERNOURT & HAUSPIE has taken over DRAGON SYSTEMS ($61 million turnover in 1999 with 375 employees, 220 of which engineers), its American rival in automatic dictation software for PCs. This transaction, through an exchange of shares, is estimated at $550 million.
