ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-chemicals

AVENTIS CROPSCIENCE, subsidiary specialised in agri-chemicals of the Franco-German group AVENTIS (born of the merger between RHONE-POULENC and HOECHST), has sold its stake in the joint-venture MISUNG LTD to its partner, the German BAYER. MISUNG LTD was co-managed with AGREVO, HOECHST subsidiary (50.1% of the capital) and BAYER (49.9%) and markets crop protection products in South Korea.
