Brussels, 23/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - As we mentioned, the Spanish government has proposed a three-stage plan for the Extraordinary Summit of Lisbon of 23 and 24 March, setting ambitious objectives regarding employment, economic reforms and social cohesion by 2010 (see EUROPE of 23 February, p.8, for Mr. Aznar's letter to Mr. Guterres, and pages 9 and 10 for the joint priorities presented by France, Italy and Belgium).
