ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electrical equipment

REXEL, subsidiary of PPR - PINAULT-PRINTEMPS-REDOUTE, specialised in the distribution of electrical equipment, has taken over the American firm BRANCH (some $220 million turnover in 1999). This operation enables REXEL to take fight place among distributors of electrical equipment in the United States, where it will take its annual turnover to 1.7 bn euro.
