Brussels, 02/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on Tuesday, Portuguese Agriculture Minister Manuel Capoulas Santos presented the results of the latest Agriculture Council (see EUROPE of 26 January, p.6) to the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee. He placed emphasis on the will of the Portuguese Presidency to include agriculture from the point of view of sustainable development and to move forward rapidly on the issue of the traceability and labelling of beef.
