France should be deprived of next EU Council Presidency, states Bushill-Matthews

Brussels, 02/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - "Too many EU Member States seem prepared to wantonly flout European law. Either they do not transpose directives in time, or they fail to enforce rules and regulations once they are in place". They should be penalised by not being allowed to hold the Union Council Presidency, states British Conservative Philip Bushill-Matthews, MEP, in a press release.
