Socialists and Democrats call for European strategy to develop social leasing of electric vehicles

In a press release published on Tuesday 21 April, the Socialists and Democrats (S&D) group in the European Parliament urged the European Commission to make social leasing of electric vehicles a “flagship initiative” to address climate and industrial challenges, at a time when the conflict in Iran is causing oil prices to soar.
