21/04/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 21 April, the Council of the EU adopted restrictive measures - asset freeze and prohibition on EU citizens and companies from providing funds, financial assets or economic resources - against two entities responsible for Russia’s persistent hybrid activities. One of these is Euromore, a media platform operating within the pro-Kremlin information architecture, which, in particular, “amplifies, recycles, and legitimises Russian narratives and disinformation targeting European audiences”, according to the EU. The Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad (Pravfond), “a core instrument of the Russian Federation’s foreign influence and propaganda strategy, which is founded and financed by the Russian state”, has also been sanctioned. The restrictive measures taken because of Russia’s destabilising activities now apply to 69 individuals and 19 entities. See the legal act: https://aeur.eu/f/lmq (CG)
