Made in Europe’, public procurement revision, strategic priorities – Stéphane Séjourné defends Commission’s plans to MEPs

Member States will have made a real start on relieving the burden on European businesses and improving the EU’s competitiveness when they have resolved two major problems: “overcapacity, particularly in Asia, and unfair practices on the European market, as well as energy prices”, said Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy, in hearings before the European Parliament, on Tuesday 24 March.
