EIB helps to release €200 million to finance climate-related projects in Vietnam

24/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 March, the development arm of the European Investment Bank (EIB), EIB Global, and the Vietnamese bank Techcombank announced a €200 million credit line to finance climate-related projects in Vietnam. The agreement, unveiled at the EU-Vietnam Global Gateway business forum in Hanoi, aims to support private investment in renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable transport.
