The European Parliament’s rapporteurs on EU-US trade relations have suspended, for the second time in a row, negotiations on the so-called ‘Turnberry’ trade agreement, prepared in the summer of 2025 with the US administration.
The fate of the two regulations governing the reduction or abolition of tariffs on a series of US products should have been sealed in the INTA Committee on Tuesday 24 February in a vote (see EUROPE B13805A14). In the end, this will not be the case.
