More ambitious European legislation on company fleets would significantly boost sales of electric vehicles, according to T&E

On Monday 23 February, the think-tank Transport & Environment (T&E) recommended increasing the level of ambition of the regulation on the greening of corporate fleets, proposed by the European Commission in December (see EUROPE B13774A13).

T&E has suggested converting the currently proposed target for zero and low emission vehicles into a target for zero emission vehicles only, increasing the minimum share of zero emission vehicles from 45% to 69% by 2030. According to its analysis, this...
