06/02/2026 (Agence Europe) – In a regulation published in the Official Journal of the EU on Friday 6 February, the European Commission imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain prepared or preserved sweetcorn in kernels from China. Provisional anti-dumping duties have been in force since 8 August 2025. The European Commission considered that, in view of the dumping and in order to prevent further injury being caused to the Union industry by imports of these preparations, it was necessary to apply a definitive anti-dumping duty of between 31 and 54.3% (as a percentage of the cost, insurance and freight (CIF) price at the Union border, before duty).
