Two humanitarian operations carried out in Yemen and Burundi using airlifts

06/02/26 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 5 February, the European Commission announced on X that it had carried out two transport operations to Yemen and Burundi using humanitarian airlifts. In Yemen, where 2 million people are facing health and food emergencies, the operation mobilised 18 flights to Sanaa and Aden, transporting 296 tonnes of medical equipment.
