Correction of a quote attributed to MEP Marie Toussaint on Commission’s new strategies for migration and visas

30/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 January, Agence Europe incorrectly attributed a reaction from Green MEP Mélissa Camara to her colleague Marie Toussaint. The quote concerned the strategies presented the same day by the European Commission, on migration and asylum on the one hand, and on visas on the other, aimed at limiting illegal migration in favour of regular labour mobility (see EUROPE B13797A10).
