EU releases extra €1 million in humanitarian aid

12/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 November, the European Commission announced the release of a further €1 million in humanitarian aid for Sudan as the population tries to flee the ongoing violence in El Fasher. This funding is in addition to the €272 million that the EU has already allocated in 2025 to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict in Sudan and to Sudanese refugees fleeing to neighbouring countries.
