On Wednesday 29 October, the European Commission adopted a proposal for fifteen total allowable catches (TACs) in the waters of the Atlantic, Skagerrak and Kattegat for next year.
In particular, it proposes to maintain the level of hake catches in Iberian waters at 17,445 tonnes by 2026.
