European Commission refuses to postpone date of entry into force of regulation on combating deforestation

On Monday 27 October in Luxembourg, despite a request from several agriculture ministers, the European Commission refused to grant a one-year postponement of the date on which the regulation on combating imported deforestation would come into force.
