Data protection: EDPS publishes new guidelines for use of generative AI in European institutions

On Tuesday 28 October, the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) updated its guidelines on generative AI, with a view to adapting them to the new issues raised by the link with the processing of personal data.

Aimed at the various institutions, bodies and agencies of the European Union (EUI), these guidelines are intended to provide practical advice for the deployment of generative AI tools so that their use complies with the GDPR.
