24/10/25 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 22 October, the European Labour Authority (ELA) launched a social security campaign under the slogan ‘Mobility is your choice, protection is your right’. The aim is to find out “Learn how to stay covered by social security, claim benefits, and meet obligations when you work, live or hire across EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.”, explains the dedicated website. The campaign is based on six themes: - social protection under the coordination system; - work-related mobility; - support for declared work; - cross-border recruitment; - asserting your rights abroad; - planning for and claiming your pension rights while on the move. A new ELA action planned for early 2026 will concern undeclared work, according to a publication by REIF (European Representation of French Social Security Institutions).
