At request of EPPO, seven suspects arrested for VAT fraud worth €48 million

24/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – At the request of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Munich, seven people have been arrested and more than 100 searches carried out in an investigation into VAT fraud worth an estimated €48 million, the EPPO announced on Friday 24 October.
