French National Assembly calls for rejection of EU-US agreement on tariffs

16/10/25 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 15 October, members of the European Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly adopted a resolution rejecting the agreement reached between the EU and the United States in July on tariffs (see EUROPE B13689A1). As the agreement is non-binding and has no separate legal basis, it is not subject to approval by the Council of the EU or the European Parliament.
