03/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has launched a Rule Simplification Programme as part of its Better Regulation policy. This initiative aims to make the aviation regulatory framework easier to understand, implement and manage, while preserving safety and supporting innovation, efficiency and industry competitiveness. On Thursday 2 October, it launched a stakeholder survey to gather the views of industry, regulators and other stakeholders. This consultation should enable it to identify areas where simplification could bring the greatest benefit, understand challenges associated with implementing current rules and prioritise actions that align with the programme’s goals. It is open until the end of the year. For more information: https://aeur.eu/f/irh (AD)
