EU to observe Honduran legislative elections at end of November

03/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 2 October, the European External Action Service (EEAS) announced that the European Union was sending an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to Honduras to observe the legislative elections on Sunday 30 November, in response to an invitation from the Honduran authorities. The mission, which will be led by Francisco Assis MEP (S&D, Portuguese), will comprise eleven experts who will arrive in Tegucigalpa on Saturday 11 October, 32 long-term observers...
