EU Council modifies certain fishing opportunities for 2025

Brussels, 30/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 29 September, the Council of the EU adopted a regulation amending a number of the total allowable catches (TACs) and quotas over the course of the year in light of the latest scientific advice and international decisions. For anchovy in the Iberian zone, the definitive TAC is set at 22,871 tonnes for the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 (see EUROPE B13695A10).
