European Commission increases anchovy quota for 2025 in Iberian Peninsula

On 19 August, the European Commission adopted a proposal to revise certain Total Allowable Catches (TACs) for 2025 in EU waters.

The provisional anchovy quota (7,182 tonnes from 1 July to 30 September 2025) in the Iberian Peninsula is replaced by a definitive quota of 22,871 tonnes for the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
