26/08/25 (Agence Europe) – The total value of trade that has passed through the ‘solidarity lanes’ linking Ukraine to the European Union since May 2022 is estimated at around €231 billion in July 2025, according to the latest figures published by the European Commission on Wednesday 20 August (see EUROPE 13667/36). Of this total value, around €65 billion represents Ukrainian exports. The total value of imports into Ukraine is estimated at around €166 billion. Since May 2022, the ‘solidarity lanes’ have enabled Ukraine to import around 83 million tonnes of goods, such as fuel, vehicles and fertilisers, as well as military and humanitarian aid. For its part, Ukraine was able to export around 94 million tonnes of agricultural products, including 87 million tonnes of cereals and oilseeds, and around 99 million tonnes of non-agricultural products, including ores and steel.
