26/08/25 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 25 August, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) published the results of the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 calls for proposals. A total of 350 projects have been recommended for funding based on a budget of over €67 million. Small-scale partnerships are the most represented, with 185 projects selected—followed by cooperation partnerships in the field of sport with 124 projects. As for not-for-profit European sport events, 26 projects were selected; capacity building in sport, 13 projects; and large European events, two projects. The EACEA had received 2,390 applications overall—a 34% increase compared to the 2024 calls.
