E-commerce and parcel deliveries - European Labour Authority highlights prevalence of undeclared work in EU

On 5 August, the European Labour Authority (ELA) published a new study highlighting the main labour law concerns in the fast-growing European Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) sector.

While e-commerce and rapid delivery services have transformed the industry, the shift has come at a cost: widespread undeclared work, fragmented subcontracting, and growing pressure on workers’ rights”, sums up the ELA in a press release.
