Ursula von der Leyen warns that “Europe must provide a strong and united response to Russia’s drone incursions into our borders”

On Tuesday 30 September, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that the EU needed to provide a “strong and united response” to Russian drone incursions at Europe’s borders.

“We must move forward together with Ukraine and NATO”, to combat drones, she stressed ahead of the Fifth Security College, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Atlantic Alliance, Mark Rutte.
