Kajsa Ollongren appointed EU special representative for human rights

23/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – At the meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday 23 June, the European Union Member States appointed former Dutch minister Kajsa Ollongren to the post of EU special representative (EUSR) for human rights. Ms Ollongren succeeds Swedish diplomat Olof Skoog, whose departure in March 2025 left the post vacant.
