European Parliament and EU Council agree on new grounds for suspending visa liberalisation regimes for short stays

As planned, on the morning of Tuesday 17 June, negotiators from the European Parliament and the Polish Presidency of the EU Council managed to finalise work on updating the mechanism for suspending visa-free travel (for short stays in the EU), enjoyed by 61 third countries (see EUROPE B13660A11).
