In his sixth address to the European Parliament on Tuesday 17 June, the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, expressed concern about the decline in moral values.
“We must recommit to our values because when the world loses its moral bearings we lose our shared sense of right and wrong of what is just and what is wrong. And when that happens, conflict is never far”, he warned, saying that the world was in “moral decline”.
