25/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 24 April, the European Commission launched a call for applications for the selection of experts to sit on the new Performance Review Board of the Single European Sky (SES2+). This regulation, which came into force in December 2024 (see EUROPE 13536/29), provides a legal framework for improving the overall efficiency of the provision of air navigation services in European airspace. It establishes a new Performance Review Board comprising seven members (including a Chair), for which applications are now open. This Performance Review Board will assist the Commission in implementing the Single European Sky’s performance and charging scheme by providing independent advice and expertise. Candidates must have competence and high-level professional experience in specific areas. The call for applications is open until midday on Monday 26 May.
