Enlargement countries must be more closely involved in collaborative activities of customs programme, according to European Commission

There is a need to involve the enlargement countries even more in collaborative activities, according to the European Commission’s 2024 annual report on the customs programme, published on Wednesday 23 April.

A meeting was organised specifically for newcomers in October, with the aim of encouraging proactivity among enlargement countries with regard to the opportunities available, i.e. programme group meetings, working visits, training courses, etc.
