EIB survey on state of local infrastructure investment in Europe

09/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – Most EU cities are planning more investment to combat global warming and develop public housing, schools and hospitals, according to a new survey by the European Investment Bank (EIB) presented on Tuesday 8 April. In addition, of the EU municipalities surveyed, 56% will spend more to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and 53% to increase social infrastructure budgets over the next three years.
