Herald Ruijters becomes head of new ‘Security Action for Europe’ task force within European Commission’s DG DEFIS

09/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 April, the European Commission decided to transfer Herald Ruijters to the post of head of the new ‘Security Action for Europe’ (SAFE) task force within the Directorate-General for Defence, Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), in the interests of the service.
