EU Council adopts its position on macro-financial assistance of €4 billion to Egypt

09/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 April, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) adopted the position of the Council of the EU on the granting of EU macro-financial assistance totalling €4 billion to Egypt. This position will be formalised at the EU ‘Foreign Affairs’ Council on Monday 14 April.
