EU releases €150,000 in humanitarian aid following floods

09/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 8 April, the EU delegation to Botswana announced the allocation of €150,000 in humanitarian aid in response to the floods that hit the districts of Gaborone, South East, Kgatleng and Ghanzi in February. This aid will support the provision of food, shelter, cash assistance, healthcare, access to drinking water and psychosocial support to more than 9,000 disaster victims.
