National experts endorse latest proposals from Polish Presidency on gas storage

08/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 8 April, the Council of the European Union’s Working Party on Energy finalised the technical negotiations on the extension of the gas storage regulation to include more flexibilities to ensure that the EU’s gas reservoirs, currently set at 90%, are filled by 1st November this year (see EUROPE B13614A23). The national experts have agreed that the new revision of the regulation should apply from 2025, in order to benefit from the flexibilities...
