08/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – The latest report (https://aeur.eu/f/gby ) on agri-food trade, published on Tuesday 8 April by the European Commission, shows that EU agri-food exports reached a record level in 2024, despite the current global challenges. Agri-food exports from the EU reached €235.4 billion in 2024, an increase of 3% year-on-year (+€6.6 billion). The UK remained the leading destination for EU agri-food exports in 2024, accounting for 23% of total exports (€53.9 billion). EU agri-food imports reached €171.8 billion, an increase of 8% compared to 2023 (+€12.4 billion). The UK, Ukraine and Brazil remain the main sources of imported goods. The most imported products by value include cocoa and coffee. (LC)
