26/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Union and Singapore discussed bilateral technical cooperation in all modes of transport and global challenges in international transport on Tuesday 25 March in Singapore at the eighth Transport Dialogue. According to the European Commission’s press release, the EU and Singapore share a strong ambition for decarbonisation and a common determination to ensure compliance with international transport law. Both parties have pledged to continue improving connectivity and to work towards safer and more secure transport systems. The dialogue was co-chaired by Magda Kopczyńska, Director General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) at the European Commission, and Lau Peet Meng, Permanent Secretary for Transport at the Singapore Ministry of Transport.
