Quality of work carried out by Health Emergency Response and Preparedness Authority (HERA) praised by European Commission

The European Commission’s Health Emergency Response and Preparedness Authority (HERA), set up three years ago, has made progress in strengthening EU-wide preparedness and response capacities and has succeeded in taking on new tasks, such as managing supply chain aspects in the event of critical medicine shortages. These are the findings of an evaluation report on HERA’s operations published by the European Commission on Wednesday 26 March.
