MEPs favour Bruno Gencarelli for the post of European Data Protection Supervisor

MEPs on the Committee on Civil Liberties chose Bruno Gencarelli as their candidate for the post of European Data Protection Supervisor in a secret ballot on Thursday 16 January. He received 32 votes, compared with 30 for François Pellegrini, 26 for Wojciech Wiewiórowski and 11 for Anna Pouliou.
